Projeto "so close yet so far"

An ongoing project named "so close yet so far" which is all about our daily routine lives and how we communicate with people in every possible way, our feelings towards each other from miles away and how we actually handle the situation when we see someone doesn't matter if she/he is a family member, wife, husband, friend, lover or a complete stranger, through a webcam or a photo shared on Facebook. It is all about capturing the moment and sharing the moment.

I. Add me on Skype (thymournia), I will take some shots of you  via  webcam  and guide  you  through  the process.
II. If you don’t use Skype and you have webcam or your mobile phone has a camera, take 3 or more screenshots of yourself in a normal size from different views and angles and mail it to doom.forest@gmail.com
III. You have to write me a short sentence describing how you feel these days in general or as a poem; same line in both languages, English and Native letters;
"...σ’έναν κόσμο γεμάτο παρατεταμένες παραισθήσεις (Greek)
…in a world full of prolonged hallucinations (English)"

"Inspired by sorrows, darkened memories, sadness, desperate and painful moments in life, including personal and also witnessing the events around in the lives of people that I got to know till now. All comes from a dark past and the blank future. Photography and poetry are  the  reasons to live, to capture,  to breathe within and to inspire. We will fade away when it comes to an end of our existence, we live once, we die every day, a proof of our fragile lives. Every step in our lifetime has its own story of our failures and our dreams through the life which we never lived, as we are the non-existed mortals, we must freeze the moments and immortalize the weak and fading memories."

|"Thy" the genitive case of the English personal pronoun thou (archaic) means "your" and "Mournia" stands for Mourning.|
